Introduction

My art is strongly influenced by my surroundings as a sense of place. As a personal, engaged experience, a sense of place becomes a constantly morphing transformation of identity relative to past and present. The overriding theme of my work is light. The environment is visually suffused with meaning, especially through the perception and interpretation of light.
